Such romantic pictures! Love the location.
I’ll say it – I LOVE when brides wear glasses! =) I love all of the details, the location, and that black and white silhouette shot of the groomsmen walking is just rad.
I love the detail shots, and how intimate the bride and groom were. The photo of the men walking towards the light is so so good.
oh i love the one of the bride and groom walking in, where they’re out of focus. the whole set has a very soft, romantic feel to it. love the detail shots too!
I love that you went with a larger format! Killer series and amazing stuff – great jobsky!!!
You have a very refined style to your photos and processing. Congratulations to the happy couple, Kristen and Dan!!!
Gasp-your processing. It’s gorgeous! I really, really love it.
And I am a complete sucker for a beautiful bride in glasses, so of course I just love these!
Beautiful detail shots. I’m also liking the creamy tones in the photos – nicely done!
Classic detail work. Lovely!
Friends!!
I know, you have been sick of my advice columns and DIY projects. I hope i haven’t bored you all to death during these long winter months. Today I had the privilege of spending the day with my friends and love birds Lindsey & Tommy.
Here are the lovely newly weds and a few sneak peeks from this afternoon.

These two could be in some fashion magazines!! I can’t wait to show off the rest!!
Stay warm, spring in coming!!!

Step #1: Supplies.
Pick your paper and buttons. *Hint*: text weight paper works best. Choosing coordinating patterns and colors for the paper is fun, and choosing different sizes and shapes in the buttons is cute, too. Choose scissors or a paper cutter, and adhesive. Cut 2 strips of paper, equal length and width, depending on the size of the pinwheel you want (thicker strips = larger pinwheel).

Steps #2 and #3: Folding + Combining.
Evenly fold (like an accordion) the 2 strips of paper. Make sure the widths match! (Note: smaller folds make tighter pinwheels. Larger folds are more loose and show more of the pattern. We like to make several of each size – makes for an adorable display). Line up one end of the folded accordion with the end of the other accordion. Fit together and adhere securely. Permanent adhesive squares work nicely, and lie flat.

Step #4: Securing.
Pull the loose ends of the accordion strip around towards each other and adhere securely. The pinwheel will look like a cardstock “circle” (similar to the coffee sleeves they give you at Starbucks). You will need to pop the pinwheel out and push it down (work with it until it looks like a pinwheel should look), holding it in place with your fingers. In the photo, the paperweight is doing the job of holding the pinwheel in place.

Step #5: Finishing Touches.
Choose your button and secure *tightly* with glue dots (you may need to use several!). Note: we recommend weighing the pinwheels down for several hours once they are fully assembled). This will help to ensure that they are secure.

I hope that everyone is holding up out there. We are getting slammed with the white stuff this Winter! Tomorrow Upstate New York is calling for 2 feet of snow!?! I don’t know whether to believe it or not but, either way, I made a promise to bring you a fun Do it Yourself project every Tuesday and this one is really adorable! This one is for the bookworm in all of us.

Today’s DIY Project comes to us from the ladies over at Ruffled, which was submitted by Brittni of papernstitch on the WellWed blog. This precious little ring holder is made out of a vintage book, and a perfect little quirky touch for any wedding.
Materials:
- vintage book
- ruler
- pencil
- xacto knife
- ribbon
Instructions:
Step 1: Choose a book that has special meaning to you or your relationship. Or perhaps is the color(s) of your wedding.
Step 2: Turn to almost halfway through your book (a little less than half), and draw a small two inch box center right (toward the outside of the book).
Step 3: Using a straightedge and an xacto knife, follow the guide of your box and begin slicing through along the lines. You will want to press down hard and go over each line over and over, so that you go through as many layers as possible. Brittni recommends cutting over each line at least six times.
Step 4: Once that is done, you can pop out the paper, revealing your hollowed out box. You may have to repeat step 3 several times to get the desired deepness for your “box”. Remember it only has to be as deep as the rings that will be going inside of it.
Step 5: Now slip a ribbon through the cut box (making sure to go through all of the pages that are cut).
Step 6: Slip the rings onto the ribbon and rest them inside your hollowed box. Close book and tie ribbon with a bow.
